Mrs. Hall, Assistant Executive Director for EducationHall, co-founded
the organization in 2004 with her husband, Executive Director Pete
Hall. Together, their work has impacted school districts, leaders,
teachers, and students throughout the United States. Mrs. Hall,
honoree of the International Literacy Association’s Celebrate
Literacy Award in 2005, is an expert English as a Second Language
(ESL) teacher, CELL and ExLL certified Literacy Coordinator, and a
veteran of over ten years in at-risk elementary school settings. She
is currently a kindergarten teacher in School District 271 in
Idaho. She works exclusively with curriculum and instruction and
instructional coaching, delivering
training and support in best practices of literacy instruction.
“It’s not about good teaching vs. bad
teaching; it’s about effective teaching vs. ineffective
teaching,” states Mrs. Hall. “It’s our obligation
as educators to find what works for our students so we can extend
their potential.”
